Information Collected: | KRS 17.500(6) defines “registrant information” as:“… the name, including any lawful name change together with the previous name, Social Security number, age race sex date of birth, height, weight, eye and hair color, fingerprints, palm prints, DNA sample, a photograph, aliases used, residence, motor vehicle operator’s license number as well as any other government-issued identification card numbers, if any, a brief description of the crime or crimes committed, and other information the cabinet determines, by administrative regulation, may be useful in the identification of registrants. |
Administrating Agency: | Kentucky State Police, Department of Corrections, probation/parole officer. |
Timeframe for Registration: | On or before the date of release for Kentucky offenders. Five working days for out of state offenders entering Kentucky to reside, work or study. If the registrant changes his or her residence to a new county, the person shall notify his or her current local probation and parole office of the new residence address on or before the date of the change of address. The registrant shall also register with the appropriate local probation and parole office in the county of his or her new residence no later than five (5) working days after the date of the change of address. |
